Meals That Nourish The Soul, Says Malaika Arora While Devouring A South Indian Meal

South Indian meals are comforting. Don’t you agree? The dishes are packed with a variety of flavours and are usually light on the stomach. Generally, the cuisine includes various preparations of rice, lentils, vegetables, and traditional spices, combined with tamarind and sometimes, even coconut for that much-needed crunch and boost of flavours. To keep her Instafam updated, Malaika shared a glimpse of her indulgence on Instagram Stories. What’s there? A bowlful of thayir sadam, which resembles curd rice, perfectly tempered with mustard seeds. She served the curd rice on her platter. Malaika paired it with a heavenly sambar cooked with lentils, spices, carrots, curry leaves, and red chillies. What’s more? For a crunchy twist, we could see wafers (chips) and pieces of murukku. To enhance the taste of the meal, Malaika also opted for a mouth-watering blob of pickle from the jar kept close to her plate. The actress expressed, “Meals that nourish the soul.” Here is the photo she posted:
